80 ml soy sauce
150ml water
2 tbsp coconut blossom sugar
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 to 4 cm ginger, finely chopped
2 tbsp sesame oil
Optional;
1 tea cornflour
All this gives about 300 ml of teriyaki sauce. We use this sauce for everything! Rice noodle stir fry, teriyaki mushrooms, with fried tofu etc. The possibilities are endless! In this case you can see a delicious rice noodle stir fry in the photo.
Add soy sauce, water, coconut blossom sugar, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger to a saucepan. Bring all this to a boil.
Once it boils, let it simmer gently for 5 to 10 minutes.
Now add the sesame oil and stir well.
If you think the teriyaki sauce is still too thin, dissolve the cornflour with some cold water and then add it to the teriyaki sauce. Then let it simmer for a while.
Enjoy your meal!
