Drinking vegetable / fruit juice is a super easy and fast way to get a lot of vitamins and minerals in a short time.
Yes, you may need a slow juicer or juicer (although you can probably make juice with your blender too. But I think you’ll have to strain it a bit more often to get the same texture; I’ve never tried it myself!), but then you also have a super nutritious breakfast very easily.
Juice for breakfast? Yes, why not! As long as you make enough juice and don’t drink a small glass. Try it out and judge for yourself!
This recipe should make about 2 lt of green juice! Yes, you read that right! We drink about 1 lt of this green juice per person (of all our juices, by the way!).
This recipe is for 2 people.
1 whole head of celery
A large piece of ginger
A piece of turmeric
A few handfuls of spinach (about 200 gr)
Wash all vegetables well and cut them so small that they fit in your slow juicer / juicer.
Now process all the vegetables into a delicious green juice.
I like to sieve my juice a bit more, so that you get a finer structure.
If you are just starting to make vegetable juice, you can always add some extra apple!
